Integrity is honesty born from having strong moral principles. If you are a person of integrity then you are trustworthy, fair in your dealings and generally kind. It's a quality that is diminishing from this age, in a society full of aggressive go-getters and materialism-driven desperation.
People with integrity tend to be around people who are like them, and stay away from those who are dishonest and cruel. As integrity is a moral quality inherent in good people, it is also something that can't be feigned. It's ethical code is embedded is one's conscience. More often than not, a person with integrity can sense who has this quality, and who doesn't.

Integrity is a trait we all should strive to have in order to be good human beings. As the great Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity.
