The Calamba Upland Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative (CUFAMCO) was launched as Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) on 19 January 2023 in Barangay Bunggo, Calamba City.
One of the purposes of the activity is for said LSA to serve as a venue for training and other extension services like practical and hands-on learning for immediate application.
A consultative meeting with corn farmers was simultaneously held in the area, aimed at informing and consulting with Calamba City corn farmers for the upcoming corn silage project.
Said activities were facilitated by the Field Agricultural Extension Services-Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (FAES-OPAg) headed by PA Mr. Marlon P. Tobias, joined by the Agricultural Training Institute 4A, Calamba City Agricultural Services Department CASD), and members of CUFAMCO.
